Rachel’s career experience spans across several different countries and a huge variety of complex projects.
She spent 14 years living abroad, including in Australia, South Korea, Portugal and the UK.
After travelling, Rachel settled in London where she began her business career in recruitment consulting and business development. In her first year as a consultant she won the company award for most sales by an individual in the UK.
She went on to work at British American Tobacco p.l.c (London) in their Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility Departments. She then moved to the Transaction Team at Ernst & Young on her return to Auckland.
At these companies she supported high level executives with the preparation and writing of reports for company strategies as well as proposal preparation and project management.
Rachel later played a pivotal role in supporting the CE and Board of Wairaka Land Company (a subsidiary of Unitec Institute of Technology) with the preparation and sale of circa 29 hectares of land in the central Auckland Isthmus. She wrote multiple monthly reports for Board meetings, had a critical support role in the land acquisition process itself, and coordinated multiple stakeholders involved at various stages of the strategic land preparation process.
We welcomed Rachel to the Height team in mid-2018. Rachel brings with her a genuine desire to support our customers. She has a proactive, accountable way of working and enjoys leveraging our client’s goals into tangible deliverables. She is also studying Project Management.
