Jo is a communications professional with 25 years of experience in communications, marketing, and bid writing for public and private sector organisations across New Zealand, England and Singapore.
Jo enjoys being part of a business with strong values and loves supporting clients to succeed. She is a superb writer known for producing clear, compelling content.
Prior to joining Height, Jo led successful communications campaigns for local and central Government agencies. Key projects included an awareness campaign about waste management, an affordable housing campaign within a large-scale development programme in Auckland, and destination marketing to attract visitors to New Zealand. She worked in Aotearoa’s tourism sector for a significant portion of her career, harnessing her love for New Zealand and supporting sustainable tourism.
Jo is a strong leader with a warm, enthusiastic communication style and an innate ability to quickly establish rapport and build strong working relationships. Outside her mahi, Jo enjoys yoga, walking, swimming in the ocean (even in winter!) and spending time with her young son and whānau.
