Veronica is a senior project manager with over 30 years of business experience, which includes a unique combination of commercial and technical expertise.
She is a qualified civil engineer with extensive project and contract management, finance, and technical experience across the engineering, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
Vernoica began her career as an Environmental Engineer and Design and Commissioning Engineer for WSP, working on high-profile projects, including the Clyde Power Project. She was also instrumental in a significant water project for Wellington, working as Contracts Manager for the wastewater design, build, and operate of the Moa Point Treatment Plant.
Veronica has successfully managed large teams for private sector organisations and held governance positions in the arts and health charity sectors.
Veronica joined Height in 2017, where she was instrumental in the company's genesis, working as the Business Manager, leading finance and overseeing the evolution of processes and systems. She transitioned to her current role as Senior Project Manager on Height’s Procurement Team in 2020, where she is renowned for her exceptional eye for detail and strong communication skills. Her experience across engineering, legal and commercial fields offers a unique perspective which she applies to the projects she manages for our clients.
Outside of work, Veronica is an avid traveller who is drawn to authentic experiences, cultures and art. She enjoys tramping in New Zealand and abroad and is challenging herself to learn to play golf.
