Esther joined the Height whānau in early 2023 as a Senior Project Manager in the Social and Sustainable Outcomes team.
She brings a diverse skillset, initially gained in a range of research roles across economic development, tourism, health and justice, and later through her role with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, where she led their Prospecting and Investment Partnerships team – driving relationship management, leading prospecting and bidding for global event properties, conducting cost-benefit analyses and managing funding rounds.
Esther’s background includes a strong focus on social outcomes. She has worked closely with event partners to identify and deliver exceptional environmental, economic, social, and profile benefits. At Height, she works with both buyers and suppliers to develop strategies and translate them into practical initiatives that increase supplier diversity, create local employment opportunities and deliver measurable environmental benefits.
Esther holds a first-class honours degree in Psychology from Victoria University. At home, she’s kept busy with her two beautiful boys and a boisterous mini schnauzer.
