Supporting Icon to grow sky high in NZ
Since entering the New Zealand market in 2017, Icon has been focussed on delivering a selected number of large-scale, complex construction projects. Icon does not have an in-house bid writer in New Zealand and needed a resource they could call on when needed, and rely on to deliver a high-quality bid submission.
How Height helped
Height is effectively integrated within Icon’s New Business Team, working side-by-side with their designers, engineers and SMEs on all their competitive tenders. Having worked so closely with the team, we have developed an in-depth knowledge of their business, value proposition and competition. Armed with this knowledge, Height provides support across all elements of their submissions, with particular emphasis on executive summary/win themes, systems and processes, personnel and economic benefits. We support the methodology and programme inputs by editing and presenting complex technical information in an easy-to-digest manner. Height takes the lead on bid packaging, supplies graphic design services for bids, presentations and capability statements, and provides coaching for post-submission client presentations.
Results
Height helped Icon win the high-profile $366M Transport Hub contract with Auckland Airport, and several residential tower builds in Auckland, including Precinct’s 256 Queen Street Student Accommodation and Generus Living’s Pearson Residences in Parnell.
Icon’s New Business Manager, Sam Palliser, consistently rates Height with an NPS score of 10, reflecting the trusted relationship we have with him and the Icon team.
