Bid support for a Tier 1 Alliance for Melbourne's Sunshine Superhub

The consortium brings together four companies tendering in competition with one other team for a $250M+ Alliance contract for rail junction, separation, platform builds and a station upgrade in Melbourne for the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA). To support the submission of an extensive set of returnable schedules the Alliance needed writers that could quickly understand the project’s complexity and support the SMEs to prepare a compelling and cohesive tender.

How Height helped

Quickly integrating our bid team into an Alliance

Having been introduced to, and having worked successfully with, one of the Alliance partners as part of the D&C team for a PPP in New Zealand, Height was a natural choice for them when it became apparent that additional writing support was needed.

Height’s team quickly formed a close working relationship with the already engaged external writer and the submissions team, agreeing roles and responsibilities, timelines and check-in meeting cadences. Height’s lead writer was responsible for editing and refining multiple returnable schedules, including a significant piece on Social Procurement and Industry Participation and multiple Management Plans.

Height’s team also supported updating and refining the suite of 25 CVs for the submission and reviewing various returnable schedules.

Results

All returnable schedules and CVs were delivered a week in advance of the submission deadline, to allow the submissions team to undertake final checks, formatting and preparation of submission files.
