The Height Board is excited to announce that Warner Cowin, our CEO and founder, has been appointed as General Manager, Australia.
This move has been made possible by Claire McCarthy's appointment as Height Chief Operating Officer and her taking responsibility for managing operations across New Zealand and Australia.
Geof Nightingale, Height Board Chair, says this is the right strategic move for Height.
“The business is in good hands with Claire leading the operational components of Height across New Zealand and Australia, including looking after our New Zealand clients, which will allow Warner to work to his strengths, which are growing our customer base in Australia and building a trans-Tasman Height team.”
Warner’s focus is to work with Dave Gorham, our Australian Bid Lead, and Greg Harrison, our Australian Director, to support our clients in delivering projects within the Defence and infrastructure sectors, and to build a vibrant trans-Tasman team culture.
His role as CEO is now strategically focused on delivering our business's three-year plan. As a values-led business focused on connection with our clients, we’re taking a boots-on-the-ground approach. Warner will be based out of our Sydney and Melbourne offices this year.
As a rapidly growing business in Australia, we greatly value the support we receive from New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade in Sydney.
