The challenge: What did our clients want to achieve?

The Ministry of Social Development sought to build on the launched Construction Sector Accord Broader Outcomes Guidance and position themselves as an industry partner to grow quality employment opportunities in Aotearoa.

How Height helped

Height facilitated a workshop with key stakeholders from within the Ministry and with other broader outcomes champions from the likes of MBIE and Waka Kotahi.

We then developed guidance collateral which could be accessible to internal Ministry staff and via the website for industry and buyers a like to understand how they can partner with the Ministry to deliver quality employment outcomes through their procurement, programme of work or in preparation for a tender response.

Part of this work was homing in and defining the Ministry’s value proposition as a strategic partner for agencies and suppliers delivering construction projects. Case studies really brought to life and celebrated what the Ministry is already doing on the ground in partnership with other Agencies and suppliers. These included:

  • Ngā Puna Pūkenga
