Tony Tsiamis
SENIOR BID WRITER - AUSTRALIA

I love the strategic side of bid writing – doing the detective work and then creating a solution to solve the customer’s problem. It’s all about presenting the solution in the most efficient and valuable way possible for the client.
Core skills
Bid management, bid writing, competitor intelligence analysis, negotiation management, strategy development, information technology, budget forecasting, workshop facilitation.
Tony is a seasoned bid writer with over a decade of experience working as a bid manager in several industries including engineering, defence, utilities, manufacturing, hospitality, transport and IT.
Tony is an accredited APMP Bid and Proposal Management Practitioner, well-versed in all stages of bid writing, from expressions of interest to final presentations.
He is highly analytical, extremely focused and thrives on working to deadlines in demanding environments. A strong communicator, Tony excels in team environments and leadership roles, and enjoys building strong relationships with clients.
Before joining Height, Tony spent time as a Bid Manager for Grosvenor Engineering and ENGIE Services in Sydney, where he wrote winning bids with values ranging from $50,000 to $9,500,000 AUD. He also worked for over a decade in the information technology sector, where he honed his project management and analytical skills, both of which are assets in bid writing.
Tony is part of Height’s Australian team, with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, to support clients in winning more work. He was initially attracted to working for Height based on the organisation’s strong infrastructure focus, but once he met a few people, it was the team that made him want to be part of the action.
Outside his mahi, Sydneysider Tony can be found tinkering in his new shed, gardening and watching sport. He’s also a sci-fi enthusiast who loves a dose of Star Trek.
