The Height Australian business has made a strategic investment by appointing Daniel Woodman as its first General Manager, to spearhead its future growth strategies and elevate its market presence in Australia.
As an innovative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, Daniel brings 15-plus years in the construction sector, and extensive global experience in managing complex infrastructure projects.
Daniel worked for 10 years in the UK, where he honed his leadership and operational expertise working for large construction and utilities companies, and leading multi-million-dollar projects across the UK and Europe.
Having recently returned home to Australia, Daniel is rapt to be joining the Height whānau.
“This role is an ideal match for my skills and experience, and I’m excited about the opportunity to build on the progress already made and drive forward the Australian business,” he says.
With a proven track record in team management, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering large-scale initiatives, Daniel excels as a highly customer-focused General Manager.
His skills include strategic planning, financial management, team development, and operational efficiency. He thrives in fast-paced environments, combining a passion for innovation with a deep commitment to achieving sustainable business growth through delivering great customer outcomes.
Beyond his professional achievements, Daniel’s love for construction runs nearly as deep as his passion for soccer or "football," as he proudly calls it. He approaches both with the same dedication and team-first mentality that defines his leadership style.
"Leadership is not about being in charge; it is about taking care of those in your charge. For me – people and purpose always come first," says Daniel.
