Emma

Working at Height is the perfect place for me to help clients tackle the complex social, economic, cultural, and environmental challenges businesses face. I love becoming a part of the team to understand the amazing work being done, with the goal to help realise what further value can be delivered by embedding broader outcomes into the way they do what they do best.

Core skills

Project Management, strategy development, social procurement, stakeholder engagement, writing and communication.

Emma is an experienced sustainability practitioner in the construction industry, who brings passion to her work – particularly for organisations and projects striving to reduce carbon emissions, minimise waste and contribute to the uplift of our economy and people.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Emma began her career in the construction industry where she gained valuable experience in lean construction and delivering Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) ratings. Sustainability has always been front of Emma’s mind when bidding, planning, procuring and delivering infrastructure projects. Her extensive engineering knowledge and experience gained across the project lifecycle, both as a hands-on construction engineer and client-side project manager, positions her perfectly to assist organisations as they integrate broader outcomes into systems and processes.

Emma thrives on bringing together an organisation’s values, objectives and strategies to inform and operationalise a cohesive sustainability approach. She places laser focus on  delivering broader outcomes by bringing the whole team on the journey to effectively measure, manage and communicate broader outcomes goals and achievements.

A mum of one, Emma loves nature and in spare moments can usually be found pottering in the garden, walking in the bush or enjoying the ocean – be that through swimming, kayaking or sailing.
