David is a business development professional with 20 years of experience, including pursuit and bid management, contract implementation, account management, client strategy development, sales process development, and training.
His experience spans government, industrial, utilities, energy transition, transport, infrastructure and digital sectors throughout Australia.
David leads Height’s Australian team, with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, to support clients to win more work. His client-focused approach, combined with strong leadership, enables the Australian team to deliver exceptional results for clients.
A Kiwi, David moved to Sydney as a teenager and still considers New Zealand his second home. He’s rapt to have the opportunity to work for a Kiwi company growing its footprint in Australia. He was attracted to Height for its culture and its passion for social procurement.
Before joining Height, David was an Associate Director of MBB Group in Sydney, where he led pursuit and bid management for numerous winning tenders with a capital value up to AUD 13 billion. He also spent four years working for New Zealand company, Beca, in Sydney.
Outside his mahi, David enjoys watching and playing sport (he supports the All Blacks), training for his first half marathon, dining out and spending time with his whānau.
