Project Assistant - Graduate

Specific areas of responsibility will include:

  • Support our procurement, project and bid managers to prepare high-quality, accurate and on-time deliverables for our clients.

  • Drafting documentation for internal and external use, proofreading and editing documents.

  • Gathering and processing technical, commercial and strategic information, both in-person (with Height team members and clients) and using existing written material.

  • Social media, data and information research and analysis to support strategic business planning.

  • Research relevant topics of interest and draft content for blogs, case studies or thought pieces.

  • Complete an individual piece of work/project, which will contribute to Height's business improvement and/or innovation outcomes.

This role will be fulltime from approx. mid-Nov until mid-Feb. While our office shuts down for 3 weeks over the Christmas holiday period you will receive full pay during this shutdown.

Team Support Assistant

We are a professional services consultancy that help our clients buy large pieces of infrastructure such as bridges, roads, rail and water assets. Then on the flipside, we help clients win and deliver on major contracts across primarily the Australasian construction, civil infrastructure, defence and technology sectors. At Height we pride ourselves on providing innovative solutions to our clients and being agile in the marketplace. Our team is hardworking; quality of work is important to us, as is family/relationships.Reporting to our Business Support Manager, your specific areas of responsibility include:

  • General office and project administration including drafting, proofing and editing of documentation, arranging meetings, managing the senior leadership team calendars, making travel arrangements, management of stationery and office supplies.

  • Job management including managing project file numbers, setting up jobs, budget and resources within our job management system, (Workflow Max).

  • Financial management and month end support including invoicing, time sheeting and chasing debtors.

  • Maintaining weekly business and team performance reporting and running progress against budgets.

  • HR support such as setting up new staff, contracts, payroll, inductions and recruitment.

  • Supporting our Communication & Products Manager with customer surveys, marketing and digital media administration as well as preparation for running workshops.

  • Assist the Business Support Manager to refine our business systems and processes.

What we look for:

  • Efficiency – capable of working in a well-organised and competent manner with excellent time and task management skills.

  • Reporting and management tools – experience using job management, business development and financial management systems.

  • Agility – someone quick to learn who works well under pressure and can work with minimal supervision.
