Height is an ambitious small business with big values.
Height was founded in 2013 by Warner Cowin. Warner is a Professional Chartered Civil Engineer and he had been a Senior Construction and Business Manager at companies in the UK and internationally, including Downer, Electricity de France and Metronet.
After years in the corporate sector, Warner was ready to branch out on his own - and he’d identified a niche: demand for independent project expertise in major construction projects and complex tender and procurement contracts.
Warner is strongly led by values, and these are deeply embedded in the company, for example, each weekly team meeting starts with a ‘values story.’
The company now has a pool of 15 highly-qualified staff whose backgrounds include engineering, project management, business development, communications and design. This breadth of talent from engineers to creatives is very important to Height’s unique way of working: providing a variety of skillsets and perspectives with which to tackle client problems.
For our clients this means total trust and no conflicts of interest. We never work for clients competing for the same work; nor would we ever support a client on a bid that we’ve designed the procurement process for.
Since our first year of operation we’ve committed to having a positive impact on the community.
We work predominantly in the construction and infrastructure sectors, but we also support clients in other commercial and public sector organisations.
